The foliage of this impressive beech is a rich reddish-purple, so it makes a stunning accent or feature plant in the garden. Having a naturally slim and upright silhouette, it forms a column of colour that will add height, form and colour – even in relatively small spaces.
- Garden care: Requires minimal pruning. Remove any broken, diseased or crossing branches in late autumn or winter. When planting incorporate lots of well-rotted garden compost in the planting hole and stake firmly.
- Pets: Harmful if eaten
